IANGEL stands with the people of Ukraine and condemns the violence and aggression that has taken place against innocent civilians by Russian forces. It is estimated that over one million Ukrainians, many of them women and children, have fled their home country, while 160,000 people have been displaced.1 As the conflict continues to escalate, it is likely these numbers will also rise and create an even greater humanitarian crisis for those who remain in the country. This grave violation of international law is unacceptable and calls for an immediate cease-fire in order to restore peace and security to the Ukrainian people.
